Who doesn’t love a good meal? I always make sure I have breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. However, lately I have been wondering, when exactly is the best time to eat each meal?

When it comes to when or how you eat meals, it really depends on personal preference and lifestyle. Our schedules can make it hard to have a consistent time for each meal. For example, if you have a book club at 6:00 in the evening, it might mean not having enough time to cook a full dinner.

This doesn’t mean we can’t make wise decisions about when to eat. A study showed that eating later in the day increases your risk of obesity. The solution then is to eat dinner earlier in the evening. However, if you must eat dinner later because of your schedule, it’s not the end of the world. Make lunch your largest meal to carry you over and then have a lighter meal for dinner.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter too much when you eat, so long as you are eating. If you need to figure out what to do for each meal, look up some meal plans. Don’t be afraid to customize any meal plans you find to best accommodate your schedule and needs!
