Product Description:

(Wound Care – Antimicrobials / Honey). Description: Manuka honey gel ideal for low exudating wounds to promote a moist wound environment, aid with autolytic debridement and lower wound pH. Apply at ‘nickel’ thickness to wound base only (not to intact tissue).
Requires a secondary dressing. May initially increase exudate and therefore may initially require more frequent dressing changes. May cause ‘stinging’ which should resolve within 30 minutes (if not, and if the patient cannot tolerate, discontinue the dressing).
