Product Description:

(Wound Care – Antimicrobials / Honey). Description: Broad spectrum antibacterial medical-grade Manuka honey ideal for low to moderately exudating acute and chronic wounds to promote a moist wound environment, aid with autolytic debridement, and reduce bacterial burden. Apply at 3mm (1.4”) thickness to wound base only (not to intact tissue).
May saturate/butter appropriate filler/primary dressings with the product to facilitate application in deeper cavities. Requires a secondary dressing. May remain in place for up to 7 days depending on exudate. May cause ‘stinging’ with application, which should resolve within 30 minutes (if not, and if the patient cannot tolerate, discontinue the dressing).
