Product Description:

For low to highly exudating wounds with increased bacterial burden or overt wound infection.
Bacteriostatic sponge dressing. Change q1-3 days as indicated by the dressing changing colour from blue to white. Must be pre-moistened with sterile water or saline, squeezed out, and secured to the wound bed with an appropiate secondary dressing. Appropiate secondary dressing will promote a moist wound environment and will not allow the Hydrofera Blue to dry out. Cut to wound size to avoid dressing contact with peri-wound as this may lead to maceration.
