May be used for patients with ABPI ≥ 0.5. This allows compression to be applied to those individuals with mixed venous/arterial disease &/or uncontrolled edema who require compression therapy but for whom high compression (the gold standard for venous disease) would not be safe. ABPIs MUST be performed before starting.
