Q1. I have a Joey pump that was recently purchased – am I able to change over to the OMNI?

A1. There is a rebate program for the pumps.

  • Anyone who has purchased in 2023/2024 will be a straight exchange.
  • Pumps purchased in 2022 will be exchanged at a cost of $338.
  • Pumps purchased in 2021 will be exchanged at a cost of $676.
  • Pumps purchased in 2020/2019 will be exchanged at a cost of $744.
  • For a limited time only – pumps purchased in 2014 – 2018 will be exchanged for a fee of $744.

Q2. How do I go about switching my pump?

A2. You can go to any pump vendor of your choice or you can contact the store where the pump was purchased.

Q3. My pump is dated 2022, but I purchased it in 2023.

A3.  If you can obtain a receipt with proof of purchase (showing the serial number of the pump), the rebate would be from the date of purchase rather than the date of the pump manufacture.

Q4. Do I have to change my pump over to the OMNI?

A4. You do not have to change over to the OMNI. The Kangaroo pumps will continue to be supported, and pump tubing will continue to be manufactured until September 2027.

Q5.: Can I keep my Joey pump as a spare?

A5. All pumps that are being exchanged under the rebate program will have to be returned to wherever you did the exchange for OMNI. If they are not returned, you will be responsible for full payment of the OMNI pump that you received.

Q6: How long is the warranty on the OMNI pump?

A6. The OMNI pump has a 3-year warranty. Cardinal Health is in discussions to increase the warranty to 5 years.

Q6: How do I know what feeding sets I will need?

A6. Most people will need the regular formula sets. If your formula runs through the Kangaroo Joey fine, then the regular feeding set should be fine to use with the OMNI. Available sets are below.
