This was another successful week on the Ideal Protein program. Some exciting news happened this week. Not one, not two but three people had noticed that I have lost weight and all at separate times. These were all people I haven’t seen since I started on the program. This just proves that all this hard work is totally worth it and it can be seen already. For each person that noticed my weight loss, I went into great detail on how I was achieving these results and the Ideal Protein weight loss program. They were extremely interested in it and my explanation helped them realize how it works and seeing me was their proof. It was really satisfying to know that, not only is the number on the scale going down, but my body is becoming visibly thinner. So much so, that others have noticed.

At the end of the week, I was packing up my things at work as I was moving to a different office and one of my co-workers got me a small little gift as a goodbye. It was a bag of bell peppers (my go to veggies for lunch time) and tray of vegetables. This brought a big smile to my face and made Paula chuckle. This little act of kindness showed me that there really are people encouraging me to continue and reach my goal.

There was only one big challenge this week. It was my younger brother’s birthday and as a family tradition, we all had to go out to a restaurant for dinner to celebrate. I was a bit lucky as the restaurant had a nice grilled skinless chicken served with asparagus with an apple BBQ sauce served on the side (which I did not have).  Normally I am not a big fan of asparagus, but on this diet, I have tried a lot of different things that I would not have tried normally, and I enjoyed it. During dinner the topic of the Ideal Protein diet came up and of course I went into great detail of the program. This seems to be a reoccurring theme in my life now. One question that kept coming up was, can you have this, or can you have that. Majority of the time this and that were unhealthy foods, like a bacon cheese burger. I explained that in order for me to lose the weight and keep it off, I had to change the way I ate and try new healthier options. In the end I think I peeked their interest in the program a little bit.

All in all this week was another success. I have lost a total of 20 lbs and I am feeling a lot healthier. I’m sleeping a lot better, and I have more energy and motivation to do things I love.
